Actor-producer Uday Chopra, who starred with actor and now his sister-in-law Rani Mukerji in Mujhse Dosti Karoge, is all praises for her. He said she is a homemaker and it was she who brought the family together after the demise of his father Yash Chopra. “I have known Rani since years. We have worked together in Mujhse Dosti Karoge and we bonded right then. She is a great person, it is great to have her around. She has great Indian values,” said Uday. “She is a homemaker. Our family was kind of broken when my father passed away. She is the one who brought us together again,” he continued, as reported in the Deccan Chronicle.

Yash Chopra’s production banner Yash Raj Films forayed into the international market by launching a Hollywood-based production and a financing company, YRF Entertainment, that produces international content. YRF Entertainment was founded by Yash Chopra and after his demise Uday has been looking after it. The Dhoom star says that his sister-in-law has been a great source of encouragement for him. When asked what she thinks about his career and work, Uday said, “She is very supportive and she tells me that I am going to be make it big and buy private planes etc. She believes I am going to do very well in my work. She always blesses me and wishes the best for me.”

Rani married Uday’s elder brother Aditya Chopra in April in Italy. The wedding was a small and intimate affair with very close family and friends in attendance. Now, with his elder brother settled and happy, is it time for Uday to consider settling down? “I am not thinking of settling down at the moment. There is no pressure on me. I am 41 and my mother has given up. She is happy that at least Adi (Aditya) is settled. My focus right now is work I want to build my company,” said the actor.

“I think every person wants to first establish himself. It is not the question of money, we have money and ability to live, but the ability to be productive, that is the key thing. The day I become sure that my company has become productive then I can think about all this (marriage),” he added.
