Precautions: Airport security tightened

FAISALABAD: City Police Officer Haider Ashraf on Monday said security at Faisalabad airport had been tightened following the terrorist attack on Karachi airport. The CPO said police patrolling around the airport had been increased. He said two squads from Thikriwala and Saddar police had been deputed for patrolling in two shifts from Kala Gate to Chinchalwala Road.He said station house officers and DSPs had been instructed to conduct surprise visits to check performance of security officials. He said Iqbal Town SP Zulfiqar Ahmad would supervise the patrolling.
