Two FC men killed in Awaran blast

Five others injured in the remote-controlled blast.

At least two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were killed and five others injured in a remote-controlled blast in the district of Awaran on Monday.


FC spokesperson Khan Wasey said a convoy was en route from Awaran to Mashky when it came under attack. “The IED was planted by the roadside,” he said, adding that two FC jawans lost their lives while five others were injured and one vehicle was destroyed.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack till this report was filed.
