Heinous crime: Girl abducted and assaulted

BAHAWALPUR: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and assaulted on Sunday. Yazman Saddar police said Hafeez Ali* told them that his daughter left the house to go to the grocery store. He said she was abducted by one Muhammad Waseem and taken to the canal where he assaulted her. He said the rapist then threw her in the canal and fled. He said she was rescued by some people in the area and brought her home. The police registered are looking for the suspect.
