The autopsy revealed the child was strangled to death.

SWABI: District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital and Bacha Khan Medical Complex remained closed on Thursday in protest over the killing of a medical technician’s son in Kaddi village of Swabi. An official of Zaida police said Haji Muhammad Yazdani, a medical technician at DHQ Hospital, filed a case with the police stating his son Muhammad Hamdani, a student of grade seven, went missing from a local seminary on Wednesday evening. The official said on Thursday morning, the boy’s body was found in a field near Yazdani’s house. The autopsy revealed the child was strangled to death. Following this, all the clerical staff at Bacha Khan Medical Complex and DHQ Hospital, Swabi along with nurses and medical technicians launched a protest against the killing and closed the hospitals, demanding the government to arrest the culprits.
