Mugging: Two brothers deprived of Rs1.1m
Police set up pickets in the area but the robbers managed to flee.
BAHAWALPUR:
Two brothers were deprived of Rs1.1 million by robbers on Thursday. Police said the men were on their way home after withdrawing the money from a bank. Basheer Ahmad and Shabbir Ahmad, residents of Chand village in Rahim Yar Khan, had withdrawn the cash from a bank on Shahi Road, Rahim Yar Khan and were stopped by two robbers near Taranda Sawai Khan. They held up the brothers at gunpoint and took Rs1.1 million from them. Police set up pickets in the area but the robbers managed to flee.
