
The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) on Wednesday arrested three drug smugglers from the airport and other areas of Rawalpindi. Ishfaq Hussain, a resident of Jehlum, was arrested after 2.4 kg of hashish were found in his possession.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Ibrahim, a resident of Mardan booked on a flight to Saudi Arabia, was arrested at Benazir Bhutto International Airport for attempting to smuggle heroin abroad.
After being stopped by ANF officials, he confessed to having 94 heroin-filled capsule in his stomach.
Meanwhile, Nasir Ali alias Gudoo, a resident of Rawalpindi, was arrested in the Dhok Syedan locality of Rawalpindi on Wednesday after the ANF seized 400 grams of heroin from his possession.
Separate cases have been registered against them.
