TANK: A protest rally against prolonged power outages in the district resulted in a complete wheel-jam and shutter-down strike on Wednesday. Hundreds of residents took to the streets to protest against 18-hour-long outages the district is facing. MNA from DI Khan-cum-Tank Dawar Kundi led the rally which passed through several markets chanting slogans against Pesco and gathered at Kashmir Chowk. Here, several groups of protesters arrived from Gul Imam, Amakhel, Mulazai, Gomal Bazaar,  Kundian circle and Jatater circle areas and merged to form a huge rally. Roads leading to the main Tank-Dera, Tank-Bannu and Tank-Waziristan roads remained closed for more than four hours.
