Travel hazard: 11 injured in truck-van collision

BAHAWALPUR: As many as 11 people were injured in a truck-van collision on Sunday. Rescue 1122 officials said a truck collided with a van near Shahbazpur, Rahim Yar Khan. They said drivers of both vehicles fled after the collision. Rescue 1122 officials took the injured to a hospital. Doctors at the hospital said seven people had received minor injuries but four were critically injured. They were taken to Shaikh Zayed Hospital for treatment. Police have impounded the truck and the van. Drivers of both vehicles have been arrested.
