LAHORE: An additional district and sessions judge directed the Samanabad SHO to record the version of petitioner seeking to register a case against three Ahmadis accused of allegedly committing blasphemy in translating the Holy Quran. Petitioner Hafiz Muhammad told the court that Khushnood and two others had been preaching their ‘Ahmadi faith. He said this interpretation of the Holy Quran used derogatory language for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He said he had approached the police station concerned but the SHO had not entertained his complaint. He asked the court to direct the respondent SHO to register a case.
