The children were buried under rubble when the tuition centre building collapsed this evening. Rawalpindi 1122 managed to pull out all the children.
Six children including the teacher were injured and were taken to a nearby hospital for medical assistance. Two of the children are critical.

almost all buildings in Islamabad are poorly constructed using substandard material and shoddy techniques.

Instead of building rubbish roads and buses, the government should heavily invest in disaster management and recovery departments and units. This 1122 service is awesome but little attention and investment can make it even better. They don't seem to have stone cutting machinery or heavy-duty helicopters or fully equipped ambulances or other necessary equipment; that can be easily provided with 10-20 billion rupees. Same is the case with hospitals, poor people are dying of heat and lack of services in government hospitals.
