Two senior cabinet members on Thursday lashed out at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for practicing what they termed the “politics of hatred and incitement”.
Addressing a pre-budget seminar organised by the Free and Fair Election Network (Fafen), Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid said PTI chief Imran Khan’s hatred for Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) had deepened so much that he had started to abuse the state.
“He [Imran] cannot accept defeat in the elections. Let me tell you, he will lose the 2019 elections as well and blame his loss on rigging,” Rashid said, adding that his prediction was based on PTI’s performance in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P).
The minister also criticised Imran’s stance on the war on terror. “This is Pakistan’s war. How can you [Imran] say they are fighting America’s war?” he asked. Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, meanwhile, urged the PTI chief to leave “politics of hatred and incitement”. He accused Imran Khan of instigating youths into travelling without tickets to participate in PTI’s protest, ‘something which is tantamount to breaking the law’.
‘Resolving all issues’
Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali on Thursday said the government is committed to resolving all the problems being faced by the people, including the power crisis.
He said, “The government has given approval for the biggest development project in the history of the country, worth Rs131 billion, in the annual budget of 2014-15 fiscal year.”

@Muhammad Adnan Haider: Very good comment!
@Lubna: should they instead do politics of lying and rigging like pmln? Please look at first post of this thread and answer that if you can. To date no pmln supporter has provided a reasonable answer to that question.
After the recent reports about how the tribunal can't even find the bags filled with votes. I am truly dejected by Pml-N. They should ensure Pakistan can have free and fair elections. It is the first step towards our economic revival.
I feel ashamed to have supported PML-N in the past. Please forgive me Pakistan.
The funny statements given out by PML(N) workers and their resistance to open just 4 constituencies is a clear evidence that 'Daal mein kuch kaala hai'
If they are so sure about themselves, why don't they just open for recounting? Why so many heela bahanas?
@Lubana @Ehsan @Youth (Fake one)
1 glass milk in the morning 1 glass milk in the evening
This will really help you to GROW UP faster!!
PTI is doing Rona Dhona politics. They lost the elections due to immature leadership. Imran is surrounded by opportunists who joined PTI on advice from establishment. I salute Pakistani nation who rejected PTI.
PTI is an utter failure in KPK. So they have decided to disturb PML-N as well. Negative approach of PTI. PTI lost elections because youth voted for PML-N. PTI is still doing wrong politics and they will face the consequences in next elections.
PTI is busy in protesting, abusing and accusing other politicians. On the other hand, federal government is working with full dedication. PTI will lose in the long run. They are looking for a short cut with the help of establishment.
There is no doubt that PTI is doing politics of hate and agitatioon that may badly affect Pakistan.
Pervez Rashid calm down mate, do not show your anger and frustration on IK's demands. The whole Pakistan knows the reality of May 11 elections. Had your fake govt agreed to thumb verification you wouldn't have seen this day.
IK has given you enough time to do so, he knocked at all legal doors now that we are sure you will never follow the legal way of doing it, we will make sure this is done by pressurizing you via street agitations.
Congrats to all Insafians, You have snatched the seat from kaghazi shair's mouth.
Well Done !!!
These man have guilt written all over their face. There is no way on earth they'll agree to thumb verification in those 4 constituencies as it will expose their corruption and rigging. Khawaja Dhandli Rafiq!
Incitement-not politics...how ironic. Fraudulent rigging seems to the recipe for PML-N. This might be the beginning of the end of fraudulent politics.
Wondering why Saad Rafique is focusing so much on PTI. Is it because his seat is at stake if verification is done?
KSR You could have NEVER won from your consituency. There were not more than 1-2% of your votes on polling stations. I was there when you forced into the polling station and remained there for 45 minutes with doors locked. It was you who was giving statements at around 8-9 pm that computers are not working so votes are being counted manually. It was you who was losing 2 hours before results were announced. No wonder you don't show up in public places as frequently as you used to in your previous tenure. God knows how many constituencies you guys rigged systematically.
He seems so scared of PTI :)
4 constituencies only. Please verify only 4 and we all will see the downfall of N LEAGUE. and start of fresh protests in country.
2019 is distant future Mr. Parvez Rashid. For the time being lets live in the present and face the reality where PTI is consuming your seats in Punjab under your government, that too with your rigging machinery firing all cylinders.
Hahahaha...pmln were expecting friendly opposition. ....instead it looks like a fire has been lit under there feet! Their statememts are getting funnier day by day!
There is one way they can shut up IK. Just agree to verification in those four halqas. After all if there was no rigging it will show them rightfully winning and IK will have nowhere to go after that. I dont know why they don't do this? Unless......
