A POGEE spokesman said that Punjab Mines and Minerals Minister Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan will inaugurate the three-day exhibition. More than 200 companies from around 25 countries including China, Germany, Iran, India, Italy, Japan, Pakistan, UAE, UK, US, Ukraine, Malaysia, Egypt, Australia, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Netherlands, Saudia, Switzerland, Thailand and Turkey will participate in the exhibition.
“It will be an extensive display of technological advancement and innovative services,” he said. “It will attract a good number of visitors from different cities in Pakistan, including Lahore, Multan, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Gujranwala, Rawalpindi and Karachi.”
The exhibition will provide an opportunity to bring together international business professionals and the leading local industry players to exchange their technical and business expertise to acquaint the local industry with the latest developments in the energy sector.
POGEE-2014 would also be featuring a highly focused conference aimed at bringing South Asia’s energy industry into the limelight, besides offering an excellent platform for exchange of views and information to the highly-targeted audience from oil, gas and energy industry.
The conference, ‘Empowering Pakistan’s Energy Future: Innovation and Investment’ will commence on May 29, 2014.
