Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) spokesperson for Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Ayesha Gulalai has criticised Governor Mehtab Khan Abbasi for campaigning in the by-elections for PK-45, Abbottabad and said it is unethical for a governor to be electioneering. In a press statement, the MNA said the governor has been using two helicopters for campaigning in his old political constituency and, according to PTI workers, also took representatives of his party to Nathiagali on taxpayers’ money. The governor should stay aloof from political activities as enshrined in the Constitution, said Gulalai. She demanded the election commission take notice of the governor’s activities and curtail him from crossing his constitutional limits.
