Controversial content: Another FIR registered against Geo

FIR registered against team and guests of Geo TV’s morning show ‘Utho Jago Pakistan’.

KARACHI: Another case was registered against the chief executive of Geo/Jang Group along with the team and guests in the controversial episode of Geo TV’s morning show ‘Utho Jago Pakistan’. An FIR No 189/14 under Sections 298, 298-A, 298-B, 108-A and 109/34 was registered at the Nazimabad police station on the complaint of Advocate Shafiullah after a district and sessions court ordered the registration of case. On May 21, a case was registered against Geo/Jang Group in Mithadar police station after a district and sessions court ordered the SHO of the local police station to file an FIR on the complaint of Mirza Muhammad Asif Baig Advocate.
