FAISALABAD:

“Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif is the only hope for the people of the Punjab as he is sincerely committed to putting the province on the path of prosperity and progress,” Minister for Local Bodies and Law Rana Sanaullah Khan said on Sunday.

He was addressing a news conference with some MNAs.

Sanaullah said the chief minister would announce several mega projects on May 28. These projects would bring about a revolution in the socio-economic status of the people of Faisalabad, he said.

He said Sharif would inaugurate a 270MW power project which would be a gift to the people of Faisalabad.

“He will also announce similar infrastructure development projects to attract investors to the area and create thousands of the jobs.”

Sanaullah said, “Imran Khan is not sincere to democracy or the people of the country. He is trying to hinder the smooth operations of the civilian government on the behest of certain powers that are using him to fulfil their anti democratic agenda.”

Imran Khan has done nothing for the wellbeing of the people of Pakistan nor does he have the capacity to bring about change, he said. “All he does is raising hollow slogans to fool people...but these juggler’s tactics will fall flat.”

He said Imran Khan lacked the leadership required to bind people...his tsunami had come to Faisalabad only to be buried by its people.

“Faisalabad is the PML-N’s fort. The government will not relinquish its support and has launched a several development schemes for the city.”
