The year’s most awaited Hollywood wedding took place last night. Socialite Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West celebrated their wedding in the 16th century Belvedere Fort in Florence on Saturday.

The reports of their wedding will be coming in soon. Socialite Kim Kardashian and singer Kanye West have decided to turn down a host of offers from magazines, who wanted to buy their wedding photos. The duo will not sell their wedding pictures, despite having received offers of up to $1 million. “Kim wants to handle the wedding with Kanye West in a more private manner. There is huge interest in the wedding and in her dresses, and she’s the most famous girl in the world. She understands publicity. But selling the pictures after everything that happened with the last wedding to Kris Humphries isn’t the way to go and she knows that,” said a source, reported IANS.

Before the wedding, Kim and Kanye toured the Chateau de Versailles in France on Friday with hundreds of guests ahead of their wedding in Florence. The two had hoped to marry at Versailles, which King Louis XIV transformed from a hunting lodge into the dazzling heart of an absolutist state but were told in January that would not be possible.

Kimye celebrated their impending nuptials with a brunch at designer Valentino Garavani’s Château de Wideville, a 17th-century residence outside Paris Friday.  The couple left their apartment with their baby North. Kim’s mom Kris Jenner and sisters Kendall and Khloé  were also with them. The group headed outside of town to the château for a pre-celebration hosted by Valentino and Vogue’s Andre Leon Talley, reported People magazine.

At the end of the lunch Valentino paid tribute to the couple. “I would love to toast these two beautiful people here before me,” he said. “And I also want to thank Kris Jenner for having these beautiful girls. These girls make my dining room even more beautiful.” He toasted Kardashian and West in Italian, saying, “I wish you much success, a lot of love, and a long life.”

Kris Jenner who was seated to the right of the designer, then offered her own toast to the host. “I want to first toast Kim and Kanye, who love each other, and I say for all of us, this is the most beautiful place we’ve ever been.”

Valentino’s 17th century estate, Château de Wideville, was once the home of King Louis XIV’s mistress. After lunch the wedding party took a quick tour before leaving to prep for their rehearsal dinner at Versailles.

The couple also decided to let their guests discover the Château of Versailles during a private surprise tour on Friday, May 23, the eve of their wedding. In making this choice, they are contributing to a better understanding and maintaining the exceptional heritage of the castle of Versailles, which is classed a World Heritage site UNESCO. Guests were able to take a private guided tour of the celebrated palace whose unique attractions include The Hall of Mirrors, the King’s Grand Apartments and formal gardens with fountains and water attractions.
