Incurable: Two AIDS patients pass away

The patients fell ill a few days ago and passed away on Friday.

Two AIDS patients passed away at the district headquarters hospital on Friday.


Muhammad Arshad, 38, and Riaz Hussain, 45, both residents of Rukanabad, had been diagnosed from AIDS. They were under treatment at the DHQ Hospital.

They fell ill a few days ago and passed away on Friday.

Some weeks ago, Muhammad Abid, a resident of Jampur, had also died of AIDS at the hospital. DG Khan AIDS Programme In-charge Dr Sadia Sheraz said there were at least 600 registered AIDS patients in the district.
