Vaccination And Certification: Anti-polio counters set up in FRs, FATA

Following instructions from the Directorate of Health Services at FATA Secretariat, polio counters for vaccination and certification have been established at each agency headquarters hospital and offices of agency surgeons (AS) in the frontier regions (FR) with immediate effect. A handout issued by the directorate stated the AS and medical superintendent (MS) will be responsible for the establishment of the counters, which should be in visible sight with a banner. The MS and AS will also provide signed certificates to travellers after they have been administered the free-of-charge drops and will keep a confidential record of the travellers.
