Investigation continues: Two-year-old remains missing

KARACHI: The police have yet to find two-year-old girl Nena who went missing outside a medical ward in Civil hospital late on Tuesday night. The administration believes that it was an accident and Nena will be found soon. However, sources informed The Express Tribune that she was kidnapped. The police have begun an investigation with the help of surveillance cameras. “Such incidents often occur and a majority of the cases are resolved,” said an official of the hospital, who wished not be named. One of the officials disclosed that the kidnapping from the hospital premises took place due to lax security measures. “Proper security arrangements are required not temporary ones,” he suggested. Eid Gah police station SHO Aamir Altaf was not available for comments.
