Kidnapping: AJK driver goes missing

The Kotli police said that they have sent a team to Mansehra to trace Wahid Zaman and his car.

MUZAFFARABAD: Police have not yet traced a local driver who went missing along with his car the other day. According to police three persons from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, identified as Sanaullah, Muhammad Afzal and Fida Essa hired a car from a showroom in Kotli for Mansehra. The Kotli police said that they have sent a team to Mansehra to trace Wahid Zaman and his car that was hired by the three men. Afaq Abbas, owner of the rent-a-car showroom, registered a report with the local police stating that the driver of the car (LEF-4073) has not returned back from Mansehra after the passage of 48 hours. The cellphone of the missing driver is not responding. He feared that the three persons who hired the car might have kidnapped the driver. Meanwhile in a crackdown, the Kotli police have arrested nine Afghan refugees for staying in the state illegally.
