Judge’s retirement: Full court reference for IHC justice

The presidents of IHC and IDBA will participate in the reference.

ISLAMABAD: A full-court reference would be held in Islamabad High Court (IHC) in honour of Justice Riaz Ahmed Khan, who will retire on Wednesday. The reference would be attended by all IHC judges --- Chief Justice Muhammad Anwar Khan Kasi, Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi, and Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui. The high court judges will be joined by judges from lower courts. The presidents of Islamabad High Court Bar Association (IHC) and Islamabad District Bar Association (IDBA) will also participate in the reference. Justice Riaz Ahmad Khan was appointed as a judge of IHC on December 21, 2010. He is from Nowshera district in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P). He has served as a civil judge in different courts of K-P and as an additional deputy prosecutor at the National Accountability Bureau.
