KARACHI: The vice chairman of the Administrative Committee of the Auqaf Department, Sabir Dawood, has asked the Defence Housing Authority and Bahria Town to come up with an immediate solution to the pending project of Clifton underpasses and flyover. Addressing a press conference on Monday, he also urged the prime minister, Sindh governor and chief minister to take notice of the deteriorating situation of the area, where the excavated project site is causing enormous troubles to the local residents, commuters and devotees who visit the shrine of Sufi saint Abdullah Shah Ghazi. Dawood said that the monsoon season is about to start which will increase the dilapidated condition of the area. He warned that if the situation remains, the government will have to face the wrath of devotees visiting the shrine.
