Fallen Utility Pole: Burn victim dies in hospital

ISLAMABAD: One of the three boys that suffered burns after a utility pole broke and fell on them on Sunday, was pronounced dead at the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) Burn Centre on Monday. According to officials at the burn centre, the deceased, Amanullah Khan, 13, sustained 100 per cent burns and was in the intensive care unit (ICU) when he died. He was playing with the other victims near a utility pole when the incident happened. His younger brother, Azaz Khan, 12 is still admitted in the burn centre, whereas the third victim, Farhad Safdar, 10, was discharged after getting treatment.
