FATA Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) Arbab Mohammad Arif has taken exception to pending departmental inquiries, read a handout issued on Monday. While chairing a meeting at the FATA Secretariat on Monday, Arif said if the enquiries related to various departments are not addressed ‘positively’ within a week, action will be taken against the heads of relevant departments. Non-compliance of ACS orders may affect the salaries of relevant heads, said Secretary Administration, Infrastructure and Coordination (AI&C) Mohammad Abid Majid. Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Director General Sajjad Khan said out of 60 inquiries, 43 have already been disposed off and the remaining 17 will be handled within the timeframe given by the FATA ACS.
