JAMRUD: The boundary wall of a house was damaged in Wazir Dhand when an explosive device planted near the premises went off early Monday morning. A political administration official said unidentified militants planted a bomb near Jan Akbar’s house which exploded around 3am. He added the structure remained intact but the boundary wall was damaged and no human loss was reported. He further said panic in the area spread due to the loud blast. An FIR was registered in the case against unidentified men and the motive behind the attack could not be ascertained, he added. Meanwhile a young man identified as Syed Nasir Shah and a resident of Ghundai Samar Bagh, was gunned down by unidentified men riding motorcycles. A case was registered also against unidentified men and an investigation is under way.
