Two brothers were injured when an explosive device allegedly planted by their opponents in their wheat field was detonated on Friday morning in Marhati.

Akora Khattak police SHO Fazal Subhan said Rizwanullah, a resident of Marhati village, told police that he was working along with his brother in the wheat field when a bomb exploded.

As a result, the two brothers were injured.

Rizwanullah accused Ameen, Akakhel, Anwar Ali and Suliman Khel for the explosion.

Rizwanullah said he and his brother were rescued by other workers from nearby fields.

Subhan said the complainant also told them that the tobacco crop of their adversaries was destroyed earlier, and they had blamed the brothers for being involved in the act.
