Illegal land transfer: Court moved against six men

ACE orders registration of case against 6 people for illegally transferring government land through fake documents.

SARGODHA: The anti-corruption establishment (ACE) ordered registration of a case against six people, including a naib tehsildar and patwari, for illegally transferring government land through fake documents. According to a handout, four persons, including Muhammad Yousaf, Muhammad Naeem, Amanullah and Muhammad Yousaf in mitigation with Habibullah, circle patwari of Chak 75, and Naib Tehsildar Sibtul Hassan had prepared fake documents of 99 canals of government land and transferred to Muhammad Yousaf on February 27, 2006. ACE Director Baber Aman Baber constituted an inquiry committee which recommended registration of a case against the six men involved in the illegal transfer of public land.
