KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has issued notice to the additional deputy prosecutor-general of the National Accountability Bureau on an application of former defence minister, Ghous Ali Shah, seeking return of Rs500,000 surety he had furnished to seek bail, back in 2001. After General (retd) Pervez Musharraf’s coup in October 1999, Shah was arrested and sent to jail regarding the recruitment of 122 officials in the Civil Aviation Authority. Later, an SHC bench had granted him bail against the surety of Rs500,000 to go abroad for medical treatment.
