Election Tribunal : MPA gets 1,000 more votes in recount

The tribunal led by Kazim Ali Malik disposed of the petition on Wednesday.

KASUR: Following a vote recount, an election tribunal hearing a case against PML-N MPA, Ahmed Saeed Khan, elected from PP-178, dismissed the petition filed by his opponent on Wednesday. Khan had previously won the election with over 18,000 votes. In the recount, an additional 1,100 votes were counted in his favour. Shahid Masud had approached the tribunal seeking a recount of votes cast in PP-178. The tribunal led by Kazim Ali Malik disposed of the petition on Wednesday.
