Cm’s special aide: Social welfare portfolio given to Lanjar

KARACHI: MPA Rubina Qaimkhani no longer holds the social welfare portfolio as it was handed over to the chief minister’s special assistant, Ziaul Hassan Lanjar, on Tuesday. Qaimkhani will, however, continue to work as the minister for women’s development and special education. Lanjar used to have the Auqaf and religious affairs department but since the Muttahida Qaumi Movement has joined the provincial government, the portfolio went to MPA Abdul Haseeb.
