PESHAWAR: The disgruntled group of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) legislators will meet Chief Minister Pervez Khattak at 7pm on Tuesday (today), party sources said on Monday. Requesting anonymity, an insider said the 14-member group will discuss all issues in detail, adding that one of the cabinet members who joined PTI after the general polls will resign from his portfolio, while the case of another one, against whom the pressure group has already expressed reservations, will be discussed with the CM. The party source said the group members had declined to meet the CM earlier but Imran Khan’s assurances led to a change in decision. Another pressure group member said, “Two cabinet members were sacked and the flow of discretionary funds was also stopped.” The lawmaker added they still have issues which need to be addressed, keeping in view the possible repercussions of corruption and nepotism in local government polls and the next general elections.
