The government contended that since the death sentence was a possible outcome of the cases Musharraf was a defendant in, he would most probably abscond if his name were taken off the ECL.
The SHC on April 23 had directed the federal government to file its comments, explaining why it restricted former military ruler Pervez Musharraf – who is facing multiple trials including one under the high-treason act – from travelling abroad.
The SHC bench comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar and Justice Shahnawaz Tariq had ordered the Attorney General of Pakistan (AGP) Salman Aslam Butt to submit a reply from the federal authorities by May 7.

As this case progress in more conforntration, the end of PML-N gets inevitable. The rulers can not compare with other countries where army was taken out of the politics. They first lifted the economy, brought good/honest governance and ensured law & order for it citizens. Sharifs lack all of them, except looking for revenge and will soon find them in a bigger mess than 1999.
@Aam Aadmi clause 62 and 63 are also part of constitution as per them none of the politicians who are in assemblies are able to even contest elections...but the paid judges only punished Mushraf for imposing ban on him and under which law they imposed ban please read the constitution and let us know we will be very thankful to you.
