He was referring to the development of the country and the work the premier was doing for it's progress including the construction of new power projects throughout the country.
Ali added that Pakistan was facing several issues including terrorism, unstable law and order, energy crisis as well as economic problems.
The minister claimed that the they had done the work of 12 years in 10 months.
He also stated that the electricity generation had increased from 8,000 megawatts (MW) last year to 10,056MW this year.
Referring to improvement in the energy crisis faced by the country today, Ali further remarked that load-shedding had decreased from 16-hours a day last year to just eight hours per day this year, adding that more work was being done to improve the situation.

Currently, I was on a visit to UK. I was sorry to see, Nawaz Shariff's multiple flat in the posh locality in UK, whereas, people don't have the basic necessity in Pakistan. Nobody will invest in Pakistan when it is ruled by mafia's and criminal.
Shame on you Abid Sher, don't compare to Imran Khan. You are not even worth his shoe.

An aircraft with a faulty engine is always grounded rather than allowed to take off and crash land to cause causalities.

@Polpot: What does matter is what the world economy and international analysts say. If people were to follow the fund managers, banks and Western analysts, they have been positive on the improving economy in Pakistan over the last 10 months. What matters most is the positive press from independent Western sources - not biased Pakistani opponents who are threatened by improvements.

On the other hand, all passengers would be afraid if you try to take-off a boat, under the mistaken assumption that it is a plane.
Needless to say, Sharif and his cronies (and other politicians) will be first to jump the boat when the waters get choppy, leaving ordinary Pakistanis to drown in cold, cold water.

You kidding me. This knuckle head is the federal minister due to one reason, that he is the nephew of the prime minister. He does not know one single bit about governance.
People are afraid, not of Pakistan's take-off or Nawaz Sharif delivering, but that Nawaz Sharif will take off Pakistan and perhaps deliver it to those in his close circle, starting the campaign with privatization of state-owned entities, including profitable ones.
And why is the electricity generation only 10,056 MW when the installed capacity, according to information on the internet, is more than twice that much? Surely, if some power plants are inoperative because of lack of fuel or maintenance, it is a matter of extreme incompetence and shame.

No country can take off under huge loans, and circular debts. BTW, I am a poor person and borrowing heavily to become rich. I don't intend to pay back that would be the headache of my kids. Or I would take off to a king's palace and not stay to see the results.
Shir ali should answer to the people of Shangla who are out on streets demanding for their rights for the electricity they are producing. They have no light in their houses and not getting a paisa (penny) back either.Sher Ali is stealing their rights.

A sick joke with the people. Sharif Family lives in some other world, not in the Pakistan we belong to. Of course their finances are taking off, whereas Pakistan is being buried under massive debt, sheer incompetence, daily bloodshed, unprecedented corruption, acute electricity and gas outages, institutions in turmoil, loot sale of national assets.
