Briefing: ICAP delegation meets AJK PM
ICAP president requested support of the AJK government for establishment of ICAP’s office in AJK.
ISLAMABAD:
A delegation of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) met Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Chaudhry Abdul Majeed. The delegation was headed by ICAP President Naeem Akhtar Sheikh. Sheikh briefed the PM about the efforts of ICAP in the economy’s development and significance of its members in local and international markets. To attract people to the accountancy profession, Sheikh requested support of the AJK government for establishment of ICAP’s office in AJK. The PM was very forthcoming and assured his full cooperation in all matters discussed.
