ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam’s Chief Fazlur Rehman said his party would stand behind the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif-led government if democracy is threatened.  Talking to journalists on Thursday, he said that despite ‘differences’, the JUI-F would stand by PML-N and would back it if moves are made to destabilise the government. He pointed out the differences, particularly the disagreement on Pakistan Protection Ordinance, the National Internal Security Policy and the approach to negotiations with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.
