Wasim Akram’s father passes away

PCB Chairman Najam Sethi expresses his condolence over the sad demise of Wasim’s father.

Former Pakistan team captain and legendary bowler Wasim Akram’s father passed away on Wednesday.

Arsalan Hyder Shah, Akram's business and public relations manager, tweeted on Wednesday morning that Akram's father Chaudhry M Akram had passed away.



Later, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi also offererd his condolence over the demise of Wasim’s father.

"We are with Wasim and his family at this hour of need and pray to Allah Almighty to give them strength to bear this great and irreparable loss", he said.
