Flying caps: Convocation at Bilquis Postgraduate College

A convocation ceremony for fresh graduates of the courses M.A English, M.A Education, M.Ed, B.A, B.Sc and B.Ed was held at the Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women at PAF Base, Nur Khan.


The chief guest at the occasion was Information Technology and Telecommunication Minister Anusha Rehman, with Air University Islamabad Vice Chancellor Dr Ijaz Ahmad Malik presiding over the ceremony.

Trophies, medals and certificates were awarded by the chief guest to position holders in various disciplines.

The best student of the year, Syeda Anum Aftab of B.Sc Course, won the “Quaid-e-Azam Trophy”.

Dr Malik awarded degrees to 38 outgoing students of M.A English, 41 graduating students of M.Ed, 16 graduating students of M.A Education, 515 outgoing students of B.Ed, 37 graduating students of B.A and 50 students of B.Sc.

The event commenced with a presentation of the college’s annual report by the Principal Kaukab Ara Nasir. Established in 1984, Bilquis Postgraduate College for Women offers courses in M.A English, M.A Education, M.Ed, B.Ed, B.A and B.Sc courses, besides diplomas in montessori training and computer sciences.
