New opposition leader: Parties nominate PML-F candidate

KARACHI: After MQM’s decision to sit on the treasury benches, the opposition parties in Sindh Assembly have nominated Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) MPA Shaharyar Mahar for the slot of the opposition leader.

According to Mahar, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) have extended their support and he will submit the application in the speaker’s office today.
