Presiding over a high level meeting in Islamabad, the prime minister said that all institutions will continue to work in synergy for the protection of public.

Interior Minister Chaudhary Nisar Ali Khan apprised the meeting between the Taliban committee and the government committee, and said that the Taliban committee has been asked to set a clear direction for result-oriented dialogue.
He expressed concern regarding the incidence of terror attack while peace talks were underway. He added that it is time to make the ongoing dialogue process productive and that the Taliban committee had been asked to discuss the agenda of the Taliban Shura.

Khwaja Asif is where he is due to the votes of the people, why should he be shown the door. If the khaki people are so sensitive, they ought to stop poking their noses into matters like hiding a criminal and an usurper of the constitution in a military run cardiology institute for three months on account of a phony cardiac complication. As a major news outlet, it would be a good idea to invest in some good camera instead of uploading blurry screen grabs.
Look at the body language of General Raheel Sharif. He is very firm and upright giving a clear message to Mr Nawaz Sharif and his supporters to retreat.

It seems odd that the PM suddenly started appreciating the ISI. Something is fishy!
A good and sensible meeting to clear up some doubts and creation of rift due to attack on revenge based journalism and allegations. All institutions must stay within their constitutional rights to be accountable within their limits and this is a dire need of the day to join civilised and progressive nations.
Imran Khan's clear position to stand with the armed forces of the country has compelled Nawaz Shareef to call for this meeting.
I don't know why Nawaz Sharif doesn't learn from his mistakes in the past 23 years. His government remain in a fight with Pakistan Army everytime he is in power. I think he should understand that Running the government is primary priority and good governance is secondary. You can govern well when you have the power to govern and if you fight head to head with Army, how can you ensure that you will complete 5 years of democracy?
If PM appreciates army and its sacrifices then he needs to prove by showing Khawaja Asif door. This man can't be defense minster and still keep bad mouthing the army. Is PM trying to keep army in check by keeping Asif in the cabinet, or use him to demoralize the army?

*with small incidences of terrorism every other day throughout the whole country, but thats totally normal. The most powerful, money hungry institutions of Pakistan ofcourse have everything under control.

Nawaz Sharif is playing a very dangerous game over here. This time around they won't throw him away, they'd perhaps end his miserable life.
