Prisoner accused of murder dies at the Dera Ghazi Khan Central Jail.

DERA GHAZI KHAN: A prisoner accused of murder died of heart failure at the Dera Ghazi Khan Central Jail on Sunday, jail authorities said. Muhammad Salim, 45, had allegedly beaten up and injured two men in the Chattha police station’s area five months ago. One of the men, Muhammad Abid, succumbed to injuries. Police arrested Salim and presented a challan in court. On Sunday, Salim was taken to the Central Jail hospital where he died. Salim was the father of five children. The jail administration informed his family and handed over his body to them.
