Royal Challengers Bangalore’s valiant effort went down the drain as the team lost to Kolkata Knight Riders by two runs for a loss of five wickets in the eleventh match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). Opener Yogesh Takawale managed 40 before being dismissed by Jacques Kallis with veterans Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh mustering 31 each as they too headed back to the pavilion while chasing the 150-run target.
