NA-20 Mansehra-I: NADRA ordered to recheck votes

With 75,197 votes, Swati lost against Federal Minister Syed Sardar Muhammad of PML-N, who bagged 106,467 votes.

PESHAWAR: The election tribunal has ordered NADRA to re-verify votes in 24 polling stations of NA-20 Mansehra-I and has adjourned the case till May 8. While hearing the application filed by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Provincial President Azam Khan Swati, Abbottabad Judge Ziauddin Khattak said bogus votes were cast in 24 polling stations during the May 11 general elections last year. With 75,197 votes, Swati lost against incumbent Federal Minister Syed Sardar Muhammad Yousaf of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, who bagged 106,467 votes.
