Islamic finance conference: SBP governor to inaugurate third edition
An expo will also be held on Islamic financial products and services for promotion and awareness.
KARACHI:
State Bank of Pakistan Governor Ashraf Wathra will inaugurate the third Islamic Finance Conference and Exhibition on April 24 in Karachi at a local hotel, while CEOs and Presidents of different Islamic banks will chair different sessions. Prominent speakers at the event will highlight the prevailing boom and expansion of Islamic banking globally and locally and its emerging potential and scope going forward. Chairing different sessions on various subjects, they will raise the issues and challenges of Islamic banking in the current scenario and suggest different solutions and ideas to address them in the local market. The event is being held for the third time and it has become well-known in creating awareness among the public and bringing industry stakeholders to one platform for setting up future course of action. An expo will also be held on Islamic financial products and services for promotion and awareness.
