Murder: Family feud takes man’s life
A 70-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by a relative over a petty dispute in Sohan.
ISLAMABAD:
A 70-year-old man was allegedly shot dead by a relative over a petty dispute in Sohan on Tuesday. During the firing, a taxi driver also suffered a bullet injury, the police said. Waqar Ahmed told the Shahzad Town police that his father, Muhammad Nazik, was on his way home when Sherjail opened fire at him and fled, leaving him injured. He was taken to the District Headquarters Hospital where he died. A taxi driver who was passing through the area was also shot, he added. On the complaint filed by the victim’s son, the police registered an FIA against the suspect, but no arrest has made yet.
