Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed vowed that Pakistan will not allow Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to encourage members of the Hindu community to migrate from Sindh.
Addressing a gathering in Tharparkar’s Mithi town on Monday, he criticised the BJP frontrunner Narendra Modi for his provocative statements inciting members of the Hindu community to migrate across the border.
“The BJP leader has incited members of the Hindu community in Sindh to migrate to India, but I want to remind him about the Ahmedabad and Gujarat carnage. Such orchestrated incidents have never taken place in Pakistan,” the JuD chief said.
While Tharparkar is known for harmonious coexistence of Hindu and Muslim communities, last month Hindu places of worship were subjected to a series of attacks in the area.
Reassuring the Hindu community, Saeed said that conspiracies aimed at stoking religious or ethnic disharmony will not be allowed.
The JuD chief blamed India for the water shortage in the country. The tail-end areas of Sindh are dealing with severe water scarcity as India is building dams in Kashmir, he added.
Saeed also said that the JuD does not discriminate between Hindus and Muslims while working for their relief.

@goldconsumer: If India progressed because of the Mughals then Uzbekistan (from where Mughals came), would have been a deveoped country not such a sh*thole!!!! The fact is that Mughals came to India because of prosperity of India which they could not dream of in their home. People migrate to a better place not a worse one!!!!

@Abdul: Were you in Gujarat in the last 12 years when there were no riots, when Muslims prospered even more than their Hindu brethren and when they actually voted for BJP in the 2012 elections?
Pravin Togadia who is accused of making the provocative statements is not a member of BJP by the way. Modi has NEVER made statements asking Muslims to migrate to Pakistan. If you or anyone can find such statements, please provide a link.
In fact Pravin Togadia campaigned against Modi in the last election.
When exactly did Modi encourage an exodus of Muslims? There should be a limit to the lies that people can state.
Pravin Togadia is not a politician , is not contesting elections and if the allegations against him are proved, he will be convicted since Indian laws do not permit such intolerance.
Last but not least, Pravin Togadia actually campaigned against Modi in the last elections.
In any case, Pakistanis should be concerned about fellow Pakistanis rather than worrying about Indians. FOcus on stopping the use of blasphemy act to bully minorities. Stop using forced conversion of minorities and the constitutional discrimination against Ahmadis preventing them from practicing their faith.
Check how many Muslims from Pakistan (Shias - particularly Hazaras, Ahmadis) seek asylum in foreign countries vs. how many Muslims form India. That will prove where eople are more secure about practicing their faith.
Mr. Saeed, you can incite the Indian Muslims of Gujrat to move to Pakistan and see if someone moves.Wait, did the Muslims from Gujrat moved to Pakistan at all despite the riots? I don't think so. However, if India allows and help the rehabilitation of Hindus/Sikhs of Pakistan in India, I think most of them would move. Now it is not for Indians to ponder over but Pakistanis that why the minorities of Pakistan are moving to India.

@Akash: India progressed because of the Mughal rule and then the British rule. We (Indians, Pakistanis and Bangladeshis) had nothing constructive to offer to the world except spices!
What Modi said was that we must allow Hindus from Pakistan and Bangladesh, because there is no other country for them. So, what is wrong in that? Will the stress free countries like Saudi and Dubai keep those Hindus? When they are not providing citizenship to the Muslims, what can be expected of them?

The way these Mullahs use the Blasphemy law against the minorities, no wonder the Hindus would want to leave Pakistan. Even Muslims would love to leave if they could. So dont crib if you use fake blames.
