Property dispute: Four injured as two groups clash

Four persons were injured as 2 armed groups clashed over a piece of land in the Airport area.

RAWALPINDI: Four persons were injured on Sunday as two armed groups clashed over a piece of land in the Airport area. A police official said counter FIRs have been registered against both parties after they approached the police. Saleem Akhtar lodged a complaint with the police that he was going home with his brother Qaiser Yaseen and nephew Shiraz Yaseen when Babar and his accomplices including Dilawar Jan, Faizan and Muhammad Usman showed up in four vehicles and opened fire on them, injuring all three. Meanwhile, the second party also lodged an FIR saying they were passing through the area when Akhtar and his relatives shot at them and critically injured one person.
