@kamran Khan: What prove you have got
@Umar: and who created these religious and ethnic terrorist organizations in this country???
Too many estab PR agent trolls here.
A dying person has no agenda but to Speak the truth. If he's accusing someone and knew two week before. Then surely there might be some threatening and intimidation by the person.
Poor Hamid Mir is a scapegoat to keep 'certain fate' away from the fearful politicians.
All sympathies and prayers for Hamid Mir. However, obviously, the killers didn't want to kill him; they can't be this stupid to keep firing at the lower part of the body. Just think who would benefit from this attack on a high profile vocal journalist... Yes, the current political leadership...
Which is more important for the PM, a foreign paid media group working on a agenda to create rift between the army and the government, or the most respectful institution in Pakistan. The PM Nawaz Sharif doesn't seems to have learn his lessons. People of Pakistan are with the army, this can be rest assured.
I seriously dont get why our media and people go nuts a start blaming our spy agencies for this and even without any proof. The only proof that we have is a mere speculation that when our spy agencies dont like someone talk against them they go for the kill. I we are to succeed as a nation this attitude and mindset needs to end in this country. If you have something prove it in court. We are only demotivating our agencies thats all!
This is high treason. You just cannot malign the Intelligence agency and the army of the same country where you are earning your living. This is beyond any doubt that this media group is on a sinister agenda. All strata of society in Pakistan fully supports the Army institution and the intelligence agency. They have more respect for them than any political party or any political person.
Why isn't the PM calling for a judicial probe against a particular media group for maligning the army and the agency. This seems more appropriate. As a supreme commander, and he has time and again said all institutions including the army comes under the democratic government...it is the duty of the government to protect their apex institution, and not a foreign paid media group.
Is Hamid Mir life more important than those ordinary people killed daily. Why nobody takes notice of the innocent lives lost everyday in target killings
This is not the work of any intelligence agency. If they wanted to harm him then the intelligence agencies could do it in the dark of night in a way that no one could even detect.
The way GEO TV was showing ISI general picture like they have capture some terrorist . Shame on GEO TV .
When the PM orders a judicial probe.....it means he wants nothing to be done.
Judicial probe meaning putting the case in cold storage. It is a proven way of pacifying the sentiments of people and nothing more than that. No one will ever know the findings of that probe and if some conclusions were arrived, they will point out to some unknown executors, who will never ever be identified and punished.
The govt must stop playing devil advocate and place national interest first. How can Individuals being able to come forward and place false accusations against national institutes. Total nonsense attitude is being played.
Pakistan Army Zindabad.
I think interior minister should come out from his hiding and resign since he has proved that he is just a mere spectator.
@kamran Khan: Really fed up of these comments against Pakistan Army, ISI and now generals. We don't have any sympathies against innocent people of Pakistan and Pakistan Army who are sacrificing their lives for our better tomorrow, but yes we are very much worried for the human rights of the terrorists who are killing the innocent people and are working against our Pakistan (missing persons).
no use generals can not be punished in this country they are above the law and this country and that's that
Judicial probe is a complete waste of time and money. Powerfull actors will never let it happen. However, we should be happy that foot soldiers of those actors are not very well trained.
I smell a conspiracy and an attempt to defame my country's security agencies.
This is ridiculous. A man who has neither an official nor a holder of public office gets preference over hundreds of thousands of civilians who wrongfully get killed every year.
There is no justice to begin with.
And who will call DG ISI to record his statement?
Total breakdown of law and order.
