HANGU:

Residents of Thal and Doaba panicked after spotting suspected US drones hovering in the skies on Saturday morning.

According to local journalists, panic spread like wildfire among residents when the drones were allegedly seen flying in the area since the morning. They added the unmanned planes continued their flight for more than two hours. “It wasn’t just one drone but several. We couldn’t count them as they kept on appearing and disappearing from the area,” one journalist told The Express Tribune.

After the tribal areas, drones are now hovering freely in the settled areas of K-P, noted the journalist. He argued the government must put a check on the “illegal action” otherwise people will start getting targeted in the settled areas as well.

Residents demanded the government take action against such flights and stop them.

@Sergie M

Well boy, I suggest you better ask your government to fund you basic knowledge in a high school. PAF possesses and operates drones which are tremendously better than the one you will ever see in REAL life. Period. No offense was intended.

@Afeef: "Surveillance drones operated by PAF" ?? Are you kidding me? PAF drones are those tiny remote controlled planes that you can buy in eBay for $50. These are REAL drones. The ones that can fire missiles. PAF will have one in about 500 years.
