Professional’s Wage: Dentists seek doctors’ benefits

FAISALABAD: Dozens of dentists on Saturday staged a protest demonstration the same benefits as doctors with MBBS degrees. They carried banners and placards and staged a sit-in outside Allied Medical Hospital. Ahsan Rasheed, one of the protestors, said the discrimination against them was against the principles laid down in the Constitution. He said all medical practitioners should have equal wages, facilities and opportunities. “It is unfortunate that dentists are being discriminated against,” he said.
